Bossley Sports Club is very active in the community. Bossley Sports Club has hosted two Gala Days to support very worthwhile causes.

In 2005 the cause was Kids with Cerebral Palsy. Total raised was $5700.00

In 2007 the theme was Kids helping Kids the cause, The  Muscular Dystrophy Association of NSW. Although the rain came down with force we managed to host 34 mini teams and we had support from the Bossley Sports Netball team as well as many local businesses and clubs.

With a huge team of volunteers led by Events Manager Alan Schembri, Bossley Sports Club raised $5,175.00 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on NSW which was handed to Ian Dear, Cheif Executive Office of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of NSW in the way of a giant ANZ bank cheque during the Bossley Sports Soccer presentation held at Panthers St Johns Park.

Alan Schembri was awarded the Brian Avery Award - Club Person of the Year 2007.
